Clinio is born from soils of alluvial deposits, flysch, and metamorphic rock that shape its vibrant character. The wine expresses clarity and woodland freshness, carried more by rhythm and salinity than by volume. Its structure is fluid and balanced, offering an immediate and essential interpretation of the territory, with a distinctly Mediterranean signature.

CLIMATE
2022 in Bolgheri was marked by prolonged drought and intense summer heat, with little rain until late August. The vines responded with smaller, loosely packed berries of great concentration and thick skins. In Clinio 2022, this translates into a wine of luminous vitality, with wild strawberry and cherry lifted by woodland freshness, fine tannins, and a saline, Mediterranean energy.
TASTING NOTES
Clinio 2022 opens with vibrant red intensity, led by its hallmark wild strawberry alongside crisp cherry and delicate violet. The nose reveals woodland freshness and a fine balsamic thread, lifted by subtle floral tones of peony and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine moves with supple grace, its juicy fruit framed by fluid tannins that carry tension without weight. The finish is bright and balanced, lingering with saline clarity and Mediterranean poise.
